‘There is no pinpointing this band’, said Tomorrow Music of HYPER GAL. By blending soft vocals with harsh industrial beats, visual artist Koharu Ishida and noise artist Kurumi Kadoya summon a brave new sonic world in which maximalism and minimalism are no longer sworn enemies. They are bound together, instead, by wonderfully dissonant noise, and enveloped in a colorful wrapping of velvet and firecrackers. Their trek through Le Guess Who? is part of their first European tour.
