Fulu Miziki Kolektiv
Eco-friendly-Afro-futuristic-punk-assemble would only scrape the surface in describing this artist collective based in the Congolese capital city Kinshasa. In order to understand, one must immerse themselves into the future from which they hail - one in which humans and nature have peacefully reconciled. For years, the collective’s members have been fashioning recycled orchestras, making their own instruments, costumes, and masks. In their world, one which is framed by the pan-African message of artistic liberation, everything is deserving of re-enchantment.
