Le Guess Who? welcomes ‘Dykegeist’ - a new choreographic work from UK performance-maker Eve Stainton, with live sound conceived and performed by musician Mica Levi. ‘Dykegeist’ is Eve Staiton’s staged essay on archetypal narratives assigned to the lesbian predator creature. The artist is as interested in what’s happening on stage as what’s going on in the audience - which is asked to transition through different modes of presence through an excursion through music, horror, and otherness, aided by Stainton’s collages and sculptures.
