dragonchild x Sunken Cages

For this unique crossover, two worlds collide; that of dragonchild, the solo project of Debo Band’s Ethio-American saxophonist D.A. Mekonnen, and that of Sunken Cages, the moniker of Indian-born drummer and electronic music producer Ravish Momin. Despite coming from apparently opposite worlds, together, the two musicians perfectly mesh. As Sunken Cages plays electronic and acoustic drums, inventing new melodies and textures in real-time, dragonchild shifts between analog electronics, tape loops, and saxophones. Together, the two musicians embody an exciting new form of global music, borderless both in territory and genre.
