Don Melody Club
Besides being a member of The Mauskovic Dance Band, Amsterdam-based Donald ‘Donny’ Madjid is also a drum-machine-wielding story-teller, whose debut album ‘Pure Donzin’, takes inspiration from Dutch troubadours like Ramses Shaffy and Ronald Langestraat. The project Don Melody Club, born from a rare break from a usually busy touring schedule, sees Don sing in his own language for the first time. Music with a sophisticated groove that is bound to be understood by all – Dutch-speaking or not.
