South Carolina-based artist Khari is a multifaceted creator. Making music as Contour is only one of his many artistic exploits, among which he includes film scoring (Half-Day, One Magenta Afternoon), fashion work (with visionary Black fashion house Telfar), radio programming (NTS Radio), and more. Contour is a vessel for his musical research, songwriting, and production, for which he released his third record, 'Onwards!', in 2022. It is a perpetuation of his songwriting practice, beyond the autobiographical. Via soundbites and references, Contour draws in his artistic ancestors, making past and present interact.
