chamæleon
Palestinian writer Farah Chamma's poetry is hosted in Brazilian producer LIEV's soundscapes on chamæleon. Their project explores the intersection between spoken word and musical texture. The duo has been on this exploration since 2016, and, this February, their collaboration culminated in their first EP, 'Uncanny Valley (Vol.1)'. On it, themes of identity and belonging (frequent characters in their artistic partnership) rise to the record's surface through Farah's words (in Portuguese, Spanish and Arabic) and LIEV's carefully curated electronic and organic sounds.
