‘Music For Four Guitars’, veteran improviser Bill Orcutt (of Harry Pussy)'s 2022 cut, has struck a chord with listeners on record. Now, the left-field LP, released in last year’s fall, is being transported onto the stage. Orcutt is joined live by an all-star team of seasoned guitarists, made up of Wendy Eisenberg, Ava Mendoza, and Shane Parish. The four will tackle Orcutt’s rhythmic tapestry, following the intricate composition’s thread while keeping the piece’s improvisational spirit ever-present, with plenty of room to roam and explore.
