Bedouin Burger’s 2022 single ‘Nomad’ showcases how Lynn Adib and Zeid Hamdan’s musical collaboration is pure lightning in a bottle. We are treated to the Syrian vocalist, composer, and musician’s expertly trained acrobatic vocals Adib and acclaimed Lebanese cultural leader Hamdan’s woven string plucking. Other times, however, the soft guitar is swapped out for exuberant beats - and the result is just as exhilarating. Full of surprises, this Syrian-Lebanese duo meshes classical and Arabic folk music with streaks of modernity, braiding narratives between past, present, and future.
