AIR: Pip Passchier + Youri Alvites

The match between artists Pip Passchier and Youri Alvites is immediately clear. The fun, playfulness and color splashes from their work. Where they differ is in the medium in which they work. Youri is at home on canvas as an illustrator and painter. Pip's sculptures and installations are spatial and open, even when she works on canvas. Central to their work is often the concept of movement and, in return, obstruction. How do we relate to the urban landscape we share? How do we use pleasure in (re)discovering our living environment?
