Rightfully celebrated for ‘Three Phase’, his 2020 LP that presented a powerful new take on the country’s Mahraganat/Shaabi sound, Cairo-based electronic booth magician 3Phaz has inched his way into the international club scene. 3Phaz performs together with singer, songwriter, producer and director KUKII (fka Lafawndah) of Egyptian and Iranian descent, whose sound features avant-garde, worldly, and tameless pop music.

British-Egyptian award-winning social and intellectual historian Hannah Elsisi presents Chromesthesia, a 13-hour durational performance. From Rio to Cairo, Miami to Kampala, Chromesthesia tracks Afro-diasporic rhythms and explores the history that undergirds Afro-descendant electronic music.
