Coming from Ramallah, Palestine, Al Nather has been making waves in the Arab hip-hop scene both as a producer, DJ and rapper. Raised in Jerusalem, songwriter and rapper Shabjdeed rose to fame in the Middle East with his playful usage and expert command of the Arab language. A full five years after their momentous debut album, Al Nather and Shabjdeed released their much anticipated album ‘SULTAN’. The album sets out a new trajectory for the duo charting into a new musical territory; with Shabjdeed’s lyrics which are about everyday life, about a reclamation of the present, and about the feat of just existing as a Palestinian, as an Arab, coupled with Al Nather's myriad of musical influences.
