Rabit announces new album 'Les Fleurs du Mal' + shares first single
Wednesday Oct 11th 2017
Houston producer Erik Burton aka Rabit just announced his second album 'Les Fleurs du Mal'. The record features vocals from Cecilia and Chino Amobi, whom Burton also collaborated with earlier, and it's co-produced by Coil's drone master Drew McDowall together with Cecilia. The album is out November 3, just in time for his live a/v show at Le Guess Who? 2017. Listen to the first single 'Bleach World':
"This new work finds the Houston artist again deep in sonic contemplation, but of a more expansive kind. Lead single "Bleached World" is a wind-chime of a song, with a touch of Vangelis sprinkled on top, and it sinks into the consciousness like the first taste of sea air on an early morning" - The Fader
Rabit performs at Le Guess Who? 2017 on Saturday, 11 November, together with a.o. Pharoah Sanders, James Holden & The Animal Spirits, Ben Frost, Shabazz Palaces, Hieroglyphic Being, Gonjasufi, Farai, and many more.
