Listen to Swamp Dogg's new album 'Love, Loss and Auto-Tune'
Soul maverick Swamp Dogg has released his new album ‘Love, Loss and Auto-Tune’ via Joyful Noise Recordings. Although Jerry Williams Jr. said goodbye to the life of a conventional soul artist long ago, he has really taken a new direction with ‘Love, Loss and Auto-Tune’.
At the age of 75, Williams Jr. investigates the possibilities of incorporating autotune and electronic music into classical southern soul. In an interview with The 405, Swamp Dogg talks about the development of soul music anno 2018, working with Bon Iver's Justin Vernon and his sometimes dark sense of humor.
