With his self-taught piano improvisations and stream-of-consciousness lyrical approach, Lonnie Holley is a storyteller of the highest order. Now, Holley releases his new album 'Mith' which, unlike his previous musical output, touches on topics like Black Lives Matter, Standing Rock and contemporary American politics. Lonnie Holley’s performance at Le Guess Who? 2018 will feature expressive trombone and drums duo Nelson Patton, who also contributed on his upcoming album. Also performing at the festival are a.o.
