Radio Hito

The music of pianist and composer Radio Hito is rooted in the search for meaning within language and poetry, as her compositions are stripped down to their bare elements, yet retain a solemn power of truth. The words of others take on new meaning through her contemplative and deeply personal interpretations, where simplicity opens up endless poetic possibilities. Through her intimate interpretations, she questions broader collective narratives—historical, social and political—in her work. Her latest album is a free adaptation of L’usage et les attributs du cœur, a book-poem by Claude Royet-Journoud, for soundfonts and keyboards accompanied by an Italian libretto.
