Lida Brouskari

Lida Brouskari

The work of improviser, composer and vocalist Lida Brouskari moves between synths, piano, extended piano techniques, voice and text, often bringing together elements of improvisation, composition and conceptual performance. Her sound can be quirky and mysterious, with playful synth textures, inviting audiences to have a shared imaginative experience. Her practice is rooted in curiosity and experimentation, shaping concerts as spaces to enter a particular sonic world, where composed material, improvisation and unexpected sounds can coexist, as her work is continuously shifting between intimate songwriting, abstract sound exploration and more conceptual approaches to the concert as a form.
