Ben Bertrand is a Brussels-based bass clarinetist who cut his teeth in the Belgian modern classical scene. Bertrand once invented a device that enables him to transform the natural sound of his instrument into electronic ones, allowing him to create inventive loops and orchestrations. On his first EP ‘Era/Area’, Bertrand arranged a collection of sonic motifs, molding them into fascinating and hypnotic musical artifacts.
