Alma Heikkilä: Evolved in shared relationships

‘Evolved in shared relationships’ is a solo-exhibition by Finnish artist Alma Heikkilä. Feeling the urge to understand our ecological atmosphere and consciously analyze our behaviour towards it, Heikkilä presents a series of painterly sculptures and mixed-media installations. This way, she brings about an opportunity to sense and imagine the mostly invisible micro-organisms that are within and around us, representing the key organisms in our ecosystems that are otherwise underrepresented.
