It is only natural that Seb Gainsborough was called to soundtrack last year's 'The Northman'. The music the artist better known as Vessel makes on his own - perhaps most notably 2018’s critically acclaimed 'Queen of Golden Dogs' - is as electrifying as you would expect a blood-soaked Viking battle to sound like. Since then, Vessel has kept busy, collaborating with the likes of composer Rakhi Singh and pop weirdo-extraordinaire Fever Ray in 2022. For his Le Guess Who? performance, he will be playing variations from his back catalog, as well as previously unreleased commissioned material in Europe for the first time, joined by strings.
