Al Nather

Producer and rapper Al Nather erupted from the underground Palestinian scene with the force of a volcano. Soon enough, his sleek styling, old school and futuristic in equal measure, had taken over the wider Arab scene. His music has latched onto listening minds far beyond Ramallah, as he has collaborated with international names such as Jamie XX and Kutmah. Back home, Al Nather is a founding member of the groundbreaking digital record label BLTNM. His vow to the craft in the face of adversity is inspiring; as his label said in a conversation with The Guardian, ‘if Israeli soldiers start shooting, we won't stop the interview’.
